Parts work is based on the assumption that it’s natural to contain multiplicities, to be sub-divided. In depth work, this is described as an internal congress. We each contain the world within us; Parts work is a process of familiarization with our vast and authentic selves, focusing on getting to know these parts and appreciating their important, protective tasks. The goal of this work is to develop a center which can hold and balance all parts, resulting in personal integration and an experience of expansiveness.
